Certification Renewal request

Hi Team,

I have successfully completed the AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions certification; however, it is not appearing under the Certifications section (it is only visible under Past Exams). Additionally, I have not received any certification renewal email for this credential.

In contrast, my Azure Network Engineer Associate certification is correctly displayed under Certifications, and I am receiving renewal notifications for it.

Could you please assist in resolving this issue?

    Hi,

Based on your screenshot you haven't earned Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification yet. Most likely reason is your Azure Administrator Associate certification was expired at the time you passed AZ-305 exam.

Solution: You need to pass AZ-104 exam again so that you will earn Azure Administrator Associate certification again, and thus meet the prerequisite for Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.

Please click Accept Answer if the above was useful.

    Thanks.

AZ-305 is an exam, not a standalone certification. Passing AZ-305 contributes to earning the “Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert” certification. Only certifications appear in the Certifications section and are eligible for renewal notifications; individual exams appear under Past exams.

Because AZ-305 by itself is not a certification, there is no separate certification tile or renewal email for it. Renewal applies only to active role-based or specialty certifications (associate, expert, specialty) that have been earned and are listed under Certifications.

To verify or troubleshoot missing certifications in general:

    1. Confirm that all requirements for the certification have been met by checking the certification details page.
    2. Make sure the correct Microsoft Learn profile is being used and that exams/certifications were not earned under a different account.
    3. If a certification that should exist is missing after these checks, contact Microsoft Credentials Support for assistance.
