1. Open a website link - Contact - Microsoft Support 
2. In the box below "We're here to help", type Microsoft 365, click "Get Help", and then click "Contact Support" below. 
3. In this section, you will need to sign in to your Microsoft account. 
4. Select "Microsoft 365 and Office" under Products & Services, select "Technical Support" as the category, and click to confirm 
5. You can select " Chat with a support agent in your web browser " to access the chat window.

Follow these steps to clear the cancelled/expired warning after renewal:

1. Confirm the subscription is actually active
   • Go to the Microsoft account Subscriptions page: Sign in.
   • Sign in with the same Microsoft account used to buy/renew Microsoft 365.
   • Under Microsoft 365, check that it shows as active or with a valid renewal/expiry date, not cancelled or expired.
2. Make sure the correct account is used in Office apps
   • Open Word or Excel.
   • Go to File → Account.
   • Under User Information, verify the signed-in account matches the one that shows an active subscription online.
   • If it is different, sign out, then sign in with the correct Microsoft account.
3. Update or refresh the license in the app
   • In File → Account, look for an option such as Update License (or similar) and select it.
   • Sign in again if prompted, then close all Office apps and reopen them.
4. Close and reopen all Office apps after renewal
   • Fully close Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. (not just minimize).
   • Reopen one of the apps and check if the warning is gone.
5. If you renewed with a product key or card
   • Ensure the product key from the box/card or email has been redeemed; the subscription does not start until the key is entered. For help, see the guidance in Renew Microsoft 365 for home.
6. If the subscription online still shows cancelled/expired
   • If the expiration/renewal status on the Subscriptions page does not look correct after payment, contact Microsoft Support using the links in the articles below.
7. Special case: Microsoft 365 Basic
   • If the renewed product is Microsoft 365 Basic, it does not include desktop apps like Word/Excel. In that case, desktop apps will still show subscription issues; use the free web apps at Office.com or upgrade to at least Microsoft 365 Personal for desktop apps.
