Microsoft for Startups verification failed – Get Program Support option missing

My Microsoft for Startups business verification failed with the message “We couldn’t verify your startup.”

I am using the new Microsoft for Startups Preview experience in Azure Portal. The documented “Your Microsoft Team → Get program support” option is not available on my startup homepage. The general Azure Help + Support flow only shows Azure technical, billing, subscription, or quota categories and does not provide a Microsoft for Startups business-verification option.

My startup, CYNTROVA, is an Indian proprietary enterprise registered under Udyam. I submitted the genuine proprietor Tax ID in the verification form because the Business Registration ID field required a fixed format that did not accept the valid Udyam registration number.

I can provide my Udyam Registration Certificate, Udyam dashboard showing the enterprise name, proprietor and Tax ID linkage, domain ownership evidence, and the verification-failure screenshot through a private/support channel.

Could a Microsoft moderator please route my existing application to Microsoft for Startups Program Support / Business Verification for manual review, or provide a secure way to submit the supporting documents?

I am not trying to create a new application. I only want the existing failed verification reviewed.

The documented Program Support route is exactly what is missing for my account. “Your Microsoft Team → Get program support” does not appear in the new Preview portal, and https://aka.ms/startuphelp-mfs-portal redirects me back to the same Azure experience. General Azure Help + Support does not offer a Microsoft for Startups business-verification category.

I therefore need this case escalated to a Microsoft for Startups Program Support representative for manual review. I can provide the Udyam registration documents privately.

For an existing failed Microsoft for Startups business verification in the new Azure Portal experience, the supported path is Microsoft for Startups Program Support, not the general Azure technical support categories.

Use one of these supported routes:

    1. In Azure Portal, go to the startup homepage.
    2. Open the Overview tab.
    3. In Your Microsoft Team, select Get program support.

If that option is missing in the new experience, submit a support request from Azure Portal for Azure technical issues only by using:

    1. Sign in to Azure Portal.
    2. Select the ? icon in the top-right.
    3. Select Help + support.
    4. Select Create a support request and attach screenshots or relevant documents.

For Microsoft for Startups program-specific support, the documented note says to use https://aka.ms/startuphelp-mfs-portal.

Program Support is the team that handles:

    • business or domain verification
    • application review, approval status, or reapplication questions
    • Azure credit activation issues
    • benefit redemption issues
    • entitlement and ownership corrections
    • portal access problems

Program Support does not directly handle Azure service outages, production debugging, architecture design, or performance tuning.

For verification-related cases, the documented guidance is to provide current supporting documents and ensure the business name and address match the startup profile exactly. If startup information was changed, that can trigger a new verification process.
