Hello,

I'm trying to debug a Teams app in VSCode but I get the following error :

I tried to follow the instructions on this thread but this does not solve the issue. I also did every prerequisite cited in this official MS guide except the beta channels step and switching to the dev version of Teams (I'm working on Ubuntu and this option does not exist on the Linux Teams client). I also tried to attach the debugger to a browser (Firefox) but I'm still getting the same error message.

Is there anything I can do to make this work?

Here is my config:

  • Ubuntu 20.04
  • VSCode v1.69.0
  • Firefox v102.0
  • Teams toolkit v4.0.1

Thanks in advance for your help,
Simon

Adding answer from comment section for more visibility.

Fixed the error by logging into my demo tenant's M365 account by clicking somewhere near the highlighted text in the following screenshot (I think there's a login button that appears when you over it with the mouse cursor).
