Agent Event Messages
Events generated by the agent are logged to the Application and Services Logs -> Advisor Agent. You can use the information in the following table to diagnose what issues generated the events.
Sometimes, if your agent reports that it cannot upload data, it is because the gateway has lost connectivity to System Center Advisor. Check the gateway error messages and verify connectivity. See Gateway Event Messages for additional information.

This can occur for a variety of reasons, such as using the wrong gateway name or network connectivity issues. To address the issue, reconfigure the agent by using the configuration wizard. If you receive errors, see the configuration log file for more information. Also check https connectivity to a different secure Web site. Make sure that your firewall permits access through port 443. |
10003 |
Error |
The agent attempted to obtain updates from the gateway but was unsuccessful. |

The agent does not have a gateway server defined. As a result, alerts being generated by the agent are not being sent to the service. To fix this issue, define a gateway for this agent. |

10007 |
Information |
The agent successfully registered with the gateway. |

Information |
The agent successfully unregistered with the gateway. |
|
10010 |
Warning |
The agent attempted to unregister with the gateway but was unsuccessful. |

10011 |
Error |
The agent cache limit for incoming data from the health service has been exceeded. Incoming data from the health service is no longer being recorded. |

10012 |
Warning |
The agent mailbox size limit has been exceeded. The agent has deleted the oldest content to return the mailbox size to within limits. |
|
10013 |
Error |
The upload frequency for the agent is set to weekly, but the day of the week is not configured. No content will be uploaded until you set the day of the week. |
Change the upload frequency setting for the agent. See Use Registry Keys to Configure System Center Advisor for more information. |
10014 |
Error |
The agent cannot communicate with the gateway because the gateway and agent are running incompatible versions of the software. |
This error occurs when the agent has been updated but the gateway has not. Update the gateway by following the steps in Install the Gateway and Agents from the Setup Wizard. |
10015 |
Information |
The log files for the agent exceeded the maximum allowed value. The agent has deleted the oldest log file to return the log folder size to within limits. |
