Many components were modified for Windows XP Embedded Service Pack 2 Feature Pack 2007 to remove stale, obsolete dependencies. Also, some components are no longer dependent on their binary files. This enables other features to reduce their footprint. The following sections detail these changes.
In This Section
- Re-factored Components List
Lists all components re-factored to reduce their footprint. - Manually Removing Re-factored Components
Describes a strategy to handle replacement of obsolete components with their new, re-factored versions. - Old Dependencies of Re-factored Components
