Simplified Chinese MSPY 3.0 IME Catalog Items and Sysgen Variables (Compact 2013)

3/28/2014

In Windows Embedded Compact, you can implement functionality for users to type Simplified Chinese characters as input for a Windows Embedded Compact powered device by adding the Microsoft Pinyin (MSPY) IME 3.0 for Simplified Chinese.

With an input method editor (IME), a user can press a key on a keyboard, view character candidates displayed in the user interface (UI), and select the correct character to map to the key press.

For more information, see Simplified Chinese MSPY 3.0 IME.

For more information about how to add or remove catalog items, see Create Your First OS.
