To change the default location for receipt of files sent over an infrared link
Open Wireless Link in Control Panel.
On the Infrared tab, under Default location for received files, click Browse.
By default, files that are sent over an infrared link are copied to the desktop of the recipient computer.
Enter a new location, and then click OK.
Notes
Performing this task does not require you to have administrative credentials. Therefore, as a security best practice, consider performing this task as a user without administrative credentials.
To open a Control Panel item, click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click the appropriate icon.
In the Windows Server 2003 family, only Windows Server 2003, Standard Edition, supports infrared networking.
The Wireless Link icon appears in Control Panel only if an infrared device is already installed on your computer.
