Are you a faculty member looking to build your students’ technical skills? Is your department or institution looking to transform its technology curriculum to prepare students for future careers? Microsoft Learn for Educators (MSLE) enables you to bring Microsoft Official Curriculum into your classroom to build your students’ technical skills for the future.
Educators that meet either of the following criteria can apply:
- Educators and faculty members at higher education institutions that offer accredited degree, diploma, certificate, or continuing or further education programs, such as colleges, universities, community colleges, polytechnics
- Educators at secondary schools with STEM focused curriculum
If you are applying on behalf of a secondary school, please describe your STEM focused program and how you plan on implementing the Microsoft courses in your program.
There are two program options. You can participate as an Individual Educator. You can also nominate your Institution to be part of MSLE Educational Institution option, once you sign up as Individual Educator. If your institution already participates in MSLE, you can indicate that when you sign up as well. Visit Program Options and Sign up to learn more.

Microsoft curriculum and teaching materials
MSLE provides access to a curriculum of Official Microsoft Learning Products.
Microsoft Fundamentals curriculum provides foundational-level knowledge of cloud computing, AI, cybersecurity, and business applications. They are ideal for students starting or thinking about a career in technology.
Microsoft Advanced Role-Based curriculum provides associate level knowledge of Microsoft cloud and business application services. They are ideal for students looking to begin learning valuable job role skills.
Each course covers the topics that get your students ready for the Microsoft Certification exam. The lessons are based on real-world scenarios and contain practice exercises. These materials have been designed for instructor-led and blended learning models and can be delivered remotely or in person. They directly align to Microsoft Learn online learning paths, which are collections of training modules, that are delivered wholesale or via the modular components.
To learn more about how to access and use these resources, review the MSLE teaching materials.
Microsoft Certification practice assessment
Practice is a key part of preparation. Practice Assessments on Microsoft Learn allows you to assess your knowledge and fill knowledge gaps so that you are better prepared for your certification exam. These assessments provide you with an overview of the style, wording, and difficulty of the questions you’re likely to experience on the exam. Through these assessments, you’re able to assess your readiness, determine where additional preparation is needed, and fill knowledge gaps bringing you one step closer to the likelihood of passing your exam.
You can view the availability of the Practice Assessments at https://aka.ms/MSLEPracticeAssessments.
