The following code example demonstrates the use of this member. In the example, an event handler reports on the occurrence of the DoubleClick event. This report helps you to learn when the event occurs and can assist you in debugging. To report on multiple events or on events that occur frequently, consider replacing MessageBox.Show with Console.WriteLine or appending the message to a multiline TextBox.
To run the example code, paste it into a project that contains an instance of a type that inherits from ToolStripItem, such as a ToolStripButton or ToolStripMenuItem. Then name the instance ToolStripItem1 and ensure that the event handler is associated with the DoubleClick event.

Remarks
A double-click is determined by the mouse settings of the user's operating system. The user can set the time between clicks of a mouse button that should be considered a double-click rather than two clicks. The Click event is raised every time a control is double-clicked. For example, if you have two event handlers for the Click and DoubleClick events of a Form, the Click and DoubleClick events are raised when the form is double-clicked and both methods are called. If an item is double-clicked that does not support the DoubleClick event, the Click event might be raised twice.
