protected virtual void OnRenderArrow (System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripArrowRenderEventArgs e);
abstract member OnRenderArrow : System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripArrowRenderEventArgs -> unit
override this.OnRenderArrow : System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripArrowRenderEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnRenderArrow (e As ToolStripArrowRenderEventArgs)
Parameters
A ToolStripArrowRenderEventArgs that contains the event data.
Exceptions
.NET 5 and later: The e
argument is null
.
Remarks
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.
The OnRenderArrow method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors
When overriding OnRenderArrow(ToolStripArrowRenderEventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnRenderArrow(ToolStripArrowRenderEventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
