Licensing for Microsoft Cloud for Financial Services

Various Microsoft Cloud for Financial Services solutions have dependencies on Microsoft Power Platform and Dataverse, while a few solutions have dependencies on other licenses. The following Microsoft Cloud for Financial Services solutions and data models are open sourced and available under the MIT License. You can access them from the GitHub repository. This license grants far reaching permissions to users who obtain a copy of the software and associated documentation:

  • Unified customer profile for retail banking
  • Unified client profile for wealth management
  • Onboarding essentials
  • Loan onboarding
  • Banking core data model
  • Property and casualty data model
  • SMB data model

Microsoft Cloud for Financial Services solution templates depend on the existence of an appropriate Power Platform license including access to a Dataverse instance. For a full list of dependencies required to deploy the financial services solutions, see the deployment prerequisites.

The Microsoft Cloud Solution Center lets you view all the predeployment dependencies before deploying a specific solution; you can select Quick view for a solution to see the dependencies.

Post-deployment configuration

You can configure other capabilities for your financial services solution after deployment, such as integration with Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Power BI. For a list of post-deployment configuration steps, go to Get started with configurations.
