SecurityTokenSerializer.WriteKeyIdentifierCore Method

Definition

Writes the specified key identifier using the specified XML writer. Called by the base class.

Parameters

XmlWriter

A XmlWriter to write the key identifier.

keyIdentifier
SecurityKeyIdentifier

A SecurityKeyIdentifier that represents the key identifier to write.

Exceptions

keyIdentifier is null.

Remarks

Classes that derive from the SecurityTokenSerializer class must override the WriteKeyIdentifierCore(XmlWriter, SecurityKeyIdentifier) method. The WriteKeyIdentifier(XmlWriter, SecurityKeyIdentifier) method calls the WriteKeyIdentifierCore(XmlWriter, SecurityKeyIdentifier) method.
