ListView.OnItemChecked(ItemCheckedEventArgs) Method

Definition

Raises the ItemChecked event.

protected:
 virtual void OnItemChecked(System::Windows::Forms::ItemCheckedEventArgs ^ e);
protected virtual void OnItemChecked (System.Windows.Forms.ItemCheckedEventArgs e);
abstract member OnItemChecked : System.Windows.Forms.ItemCheckedEventArgs -> unit
override this.OnItemChecked : System.Windows.Forms.ItemCheckedEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnItemChecked (e As ItemCheckedEventArgs)

Parameters

e
ItemCheckedEventArgs

An ItemCheckedEventArgs that contains the event data.

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

The OnItemChecked method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnItemChecked(ItemCheckedEventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnItemChecked(ItemCheckedEventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
