PropertyFilterAttribute.Match(Object) Method

Definition

Returns a value that indicates whether the property filter options of the current PropertyFilterAttribute .NET Framework attribute match the property filter options of the provided object.

public:
 override bool Match(System::Object ^ value);
public override bool Match (object value);
override this.Match : obj -> bool
Public Overrides Function Match (value As Object) As Boolean

Parameters

value
Object

The object to compare. This object is expected to be a PropertyFilterAttribute.

Returns

true if a match exists; otherwise, false.

Remarks

For attributes that store flags, which is true for PropertyFilterAttribute, a Match result may be different from an Equals result. For example, a filter of SetValues matches a filter of All, because All is a merge of all filter values.
