ControlDesigner.GetDesignTimeResourceProviderFactory(IServiceProvider) Method

Definition

Returns an appropriate resource provider factory, depending on the globalization settings in the configuration file for the site.

public:
 static System::Web::UI::Design::DesignTimeResourceProviderFactory ^ GetDesignTimeResourceProviderFactory(IServiceProvider ^ serviceProvider);
public static System.Web.UI.Design.DesignTimeResourceProviderFactory GetDesignTimeResourceProviderFactory (IServiceProvider serviceProvider);
static member GetDesignTimeResourceProviderFactory : IServiceProvider -> System.Web.UI.Design.DesignTimeResourceProviderFactory
Public Shared Function GetDesignTimeResourceProviderFactory (serviceProvider As IServiceProvider) As DesignTimeResourceProviderFactory

Parameters

serviceProvider
IServiceProvider

An IServiceProvider object that can retrieve global and local services.

Returns

A DesignTimeResourceProviderFactory object, if any are defined in the configuration file; otherwise, null.

Remarks

A resource provider factory creates resource providers and resource writers, depending on the current settings in the system.web/globalization section of the configuration file (either the Machine.config or Web.config files for both global and local resources). If no globalization settings are found, the serviceProvider parameter is used to create a DesignTimeResourceProviderFactory object using the default implementation for the design host.

Typically, control developers will not override the GetDesignTimeResourceProviderFactory method.
