Protected Overridable Sub OnItemInserted (e As FormViewInsertedEventArgs)
Parameters
A FormViewInsertedEventArgs that contains the event data.
Remarks
The OnItemInserted method is called by the FormView control to raise the ItemInserted event. It is generally used by control developers when extending the FormView class.
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.
The OnItemInserted method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors
When overriding OnItemInserted(FormViewInsertedEventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnItemInserted(FormViewInsertedEventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
