Protected Friend Overrides Sub OnInit (e As EventArgs)
Parameters
Remarks
The OnInit method is called by the TreeView control to raise the Init event. It is generally used by control developers when extending the TreeView class.
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.
The OnInit method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors
When overriding the OnInit(EventArgs) method in a derived class, be sure to call the OnInit(EventArgs) method for the base class so that registered delegates receive the event.
