DataGrid.OnCellEditEnding(DataGridCellEditEndingEventArgs) Method

Definition

Raises the CellEditEnding event.

protected:
 virtual void OnCellEditEnding(System::Windows::Controls::DataGridCellEditEndingEventArgs ^ e);
protected virtual void OnCellEditEnding (System.Windows.Controls.DataGridCellEditEndingEventArgs e);
abstract member OnCellEditEnding : System.Windows.Controls.DataGridCellEditEndingEventArgs -> unit
override this.OnCellEditEnding : System.Windows.Controls.DataGridCellEditEndingEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnCellEditEnding (e As DataGridCellEditEndingEventArgs)

Parameters

e
DataGridCellEditEndingEventArgs

The data for the event.

Remarks

This method enables derived classes to cancel the operation.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

The OnCellEditEnding method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnCellEditEnding(DataGridCellEditEndingEventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class' OnCellEditEnding(DataGridCellEditEndingEventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
