DataGrid.OnColumnHeaderDragStarted(DragStartedEventArgs) Method

Definition

Raises the ColumnHeaderDragStarted event.

protected public:
 virtual void OnColumnHeaderDragStarted(System::Windows::Controls::Primitives::DragStartedEventArgs ^ e);
protected internal virtual void OnColumnHeaderDragStarted (System.Windows.Controls.Primitives.DragStartedEventArgs e);
abstract member OnColumnHeaderDragStarted : System.Windows.Controls.Primitives.DragStartedEventArgs -> unit
override this.OnColumnHeaderDragStarted : System.Windows.Controls.Primitives.DragStartedEventArgs -> unit
Protected Friend Overridable Sub OnColumnHeaderDragStarted (e As DragStartedEventArgs)

Parameters

e
DragStartedEventArgs

The data for the event.

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

The OnColumnHeaderDragStarted method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnColumnHeaderDragStarted(DragStartedEventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class' OnColumnHeaderDragStarted(DragStartedEventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
