DataGridView.OnCancelRowEdit(QuestionEventArgs) Method

Definition

Raises the CancelRowEdit event.

protected:
 virtual void OnCancelRowEdit(System::Windows::Forms::QuestionEventArgs ^ e);
protected virtual void OnCancelRowEdit (System.Windows.Forms.QuestionEventArgs e);
abstract member OnCancelRowEdit : System.Windows.Forms.QuestionEventArgs -> unit
override this.OnCancelRowEdit : System.Windows.Forms.QuestionEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnCancelRowEdit (e As QuestionEventArgs)

Parameters

e
QuestionEventArgs

A QuestionEventArgs that contains the event data.

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

The OnCancelRowEdit method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnCancelRowEdit(QuestionEventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnCancelRowEdit(QuestionEventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
