DataGridView.OnRowHeightInfoNeeded Method

Definition

Raises the RowHeightInfoNeeded event.

protected:
 virtual void OnRowHeightInfoNeeded(System::Windows::Forms::DataGridViewRowHeightInfoNeededEventArgs ^ e);
protected virtual void OnRowHeightInfoNeeded (System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewRowHeightInfoNeededEventArgs e);
abstract member OnRowHeightInfoNeeded : System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewRowHeightInfoNeededEventArgs -> unit
override this.OnRowHeightInfoNeeded : System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewRowHeightInfoNeededEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnRowHeightInfoNeeded (e As DataGridViewRowHeightInfoNeededEventArgs)

Parameters

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

The OnRowHeightInfoNeeded method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnRowHeightInfoNeeded(DataGridViewRowHeightInfoNeededEventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class' OnRowHeightInfoNeeded(DataGridViewRowHeightInfoNeededEventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
