DataGridView.OnRowsAdded(DataGridViewRowsAddedEventArgs) Method

Definition

Raises the RowsAdded event.

protected:
 virtual void OnRowsAdded(System::Windows::Forms::DataGridViewRowsAddedEventArgs ^ e);
protected virtual void OnRowsAdded (System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewRowsAddedEventArgs e);
abstract member OnRowsAdded : System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewRowsAddedEventArgs -> unit
override this.OnRowsAdded : System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewRowsAddedEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnRowsAdded (e As DataGridViewRowsAddedEventArgs)

Parameters

e
DataGridViewRowsAddedEventArgs

A DataGridViewRowsAddedEventArgs that contains information about the added rows.

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

The OnRowsAdded method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnRowsAdded(DataGridViewRowsAddedEventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class' OnRowsAdded(DataGridViewRowsAddedEventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
