DataGridView.OnUserDeletingRow(DataGridViewRowCancelEventArgs) Method

Definition

Raises the UserDeletingRow event.

protected:
 virtual void OnUserDeletingRow(System::Windows::Forms::DataGridViewRowCancelEventArgs ^ e);
protected virtual void OnUserDeletingRow (System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewRowCancelEventArgs e);
abstract member OnUserDeletingRow : System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewRowCancelEventArgs -> unit
override this.OnUserDeletingRow : System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewRowCancelEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnUserDeletingRow (e As DataGridViewRowCancelEventArgs)

Parameters

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

The OnUserDeletingRow method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnUserDeletingRow(DataGridViewRowCancelEventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnUserDeletingRow(DataGridViewRowCancelEventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
