Splitter.OnSplitterMoved(SplitterEventArgs) Method

Definition

Raises the SplitterMoved event. OnSplitterMoved(SplitterEventArgs) has been replaced by OnSplitterMoved(SplitterEventArgs) and is provided only for compatibility with previous versions.

protected:
 virtual void OnSplitterMoved(System::Windows::Forms::SplitterEventArgs ^ sevent);
protected virtual void OnSplitterMoved (System.Windows.Forms.SplitterEventArgs sevent);
abstract member OnSplitterMoved : System.Windows.Forms.SplitterEventArgs -> unit
override this.OnSplitterMoved : System.Windows.Forms.SplitterEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnSplitterMoved (sevent As SplitterEventArgs)

Parameters

sevent
SplitterEventArgs

A SplitterEventArgs that contains the event data.

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

The OnSplitterMoved method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnSplitterMoved(SplitterEventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnSplitterMoved(SplitterEventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
