TreeView.OnNodeMouseHover(TreeNodeMouseHoverEventArgs) Method

Definition

Raises the NodeMouseHover event.

protected:
 virtual void OnNodeMouseHover(System::Windows::Forms::TreeNodeMouseHoverEventArgs ^ e);
protected virtual void OnNodeMouseHover (System.Windows.Forms.TreeNodeMouseHoverEventArgs e);
abstract member OnNodeMouseHover : System.Windows.Forms.TreeNodeMouseHoverEventArgs -> unit
override this.OnNodeMouseHover : System.Windows.Forms.TreeNodeMouseHoverEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnNodeMouseHover (e As TreeNodeMouseHoverEventArgs)

Parameters

e
TreeNodeMouseHoverEventArgs

The TreeNodeMouseHoverEventArgs that contains the event data.

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

The OnNodeMouseHover method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnNodeMouseHover(TreeNodeMouseHoverEventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnNodeMouseHover(TreeNodeMouseHoverEventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
