LargeIcon	0	Minden elem teljes méretű ikonként jelenik meg, alatta felirattal.
Details	1	Minden elem külön sorban jelenik meg, és további információkat tartalmaz az oszlopokba rendezett elemekről. A bal oldali oszlop egy kis ikont és címkét tartalmaz, a következő oszlopok pedig az alkalmazás által megadott alelemeket. Az oszlop egy fejlécet jelenít meg, amely megjelenítheti az oszlop feliratát. A felhasználó futtatáskor átméretezheti az egyes oszlopokat.
SmallIcon	2	Minden elem egy kis ikonként jelenik meg, jobb oldalán felirattal.
List	3	Minden elem egy kis ikonként jelenik meg, jobb oldalán felirattal. Az elemek oszlopfejlécek nélküli oszlopokba vannak rendezve.
Tile	4	Minden elem teljes méretű ikonként jelenik meg, a jobb oldalon pedig az elemfelirattal és az alelemadatokkal. A megjelenő alrészadatokat az alkalmazás adja meg. Ez a nézet csak Windows XP és a 2003-Windows Server családon érhető el.
