Contoh

Contoh berikut dijalankan di komputer yang dikonfigurasi dengan instans Microsoft Word yang sedang berjalan. Tidak ada contoh Microsoft Excel yang berjalan.

Contohnya memanggil GetActiveObject dua kali. Panggilan pertama mencoba mengambil referensi ke instans Microsoft Word (contoh Word.Application objek). Panggilan kedua mencoba mengambil referensi ke instans Microsoft Excel (contoh Excel.Application objek).

Kode ini berhasil mengambil referensi ke instans Microsoft Word. Namun, karena Microsoft Excel tidak berjalan, upaya untuk mengambil objek kedua memunculkan COMException.
