Peristiwa Penahanan dikirim setiap kali jari, pena, atau perangkat penunjuk serupa ditekan dan ditahan pada objek.
Setelah ambang waktu singkat berlalu, peristiwa dikirim dengan HoldingState jenis Dimulai.
Ketika perangkat telah diangkat (setelah acara Holding ), acara Holding lain dikirim dengan HoldingState jenis Selesai.
Jika pengguna membatalkan penangguhan setelah dimulai, tetapi sebelum selesai, acara Holding dikirim dengan HoldingState jenis Dibatalkan.
