ToolboxItem.OnComponentsCreated(ToolboxComponentsCreatedEventArgs) Method

Definition

Raises the ComponentsCreated event.

protected:
 virtual void OnComponentsCreated(System::Drawing::Design::ToolboxComponentsCreatedEventArgs ^ args);
protected virtual void OnComponentsCreated (System.Drawing.Design.ToolboxComponentsCreatedEventArgs args);
abstract member OnComponentsCreated : System.Drawing.Design.ToolboxComponentsCreatedEventArgs -> unit
override this.OnComponentsCreated : System.Drawing.Design.ToolboxComponentsCreatedEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnComponentsCreated (args As ToolboxComponentsCreatedEventArgs)

Parameters

args
ToolboxComponentsCreatedEventArgs

A ToolboxComponentsCreatedEventArgs that provides data for the event.

Remarks

The OnComponentsCreated method raises the ComponentsCreated event. This method is called after a toolbox item is invoked to create components and the CreateComponentsCore method has returned.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

The OnComponentsCreated method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnComponentsCreated(ToolboxComponentsCreatedEventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class' OnComponentsCreated(ToolboxComponentsCreatedEventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
