A SecurityKeyIdentifierClause that specifies the key identifier to create.

T

A SamlAssertionKeyIdentifierClause that is a key identifier clause for a GenericXmlSecurityToken security token.

Exceptions

T is not null and not the same type as one of the InternalTokenReference or ExternalTokenReference property values.

Remarks

The value of the InternalTokenReference property or the ExternalTokenReference property is returned by the CreateKeyIdentifierClause method depending on the type that is passed into the T parameter.

Use the CanCreateKeyIdentifierClause<T>() method to determine if a GenericXmlSecurityToken security token can create a specific key identifier. To create the key identifier call the CreateKeyIdentifierClause<T>() method.
