Form.OnInputLanguageChanged(InputLanguageChangedEventArgs) Method

Definition

Raises the InputLanguageChanged event.

protected:
 virtual void OnInputLanguageChanged(System::Windows::Forms::InputLanguageChangedEventArgs ^ e);
protected virtual void OnInputLanguageChanged (System.Windows.Forms.InputLanguageChangedEventArgs e);
abstract member OnInputLanguageChanged : System.Windows.Forms.InputLanguageChangedEventArgs -> unit
override this.OnInputLanguageChanged : System.Windows.Forms.InputLanguageChangedEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnInputLanguageChanged (e As InputLanguageChangedEventArgs)

Parameters

e
InputLanguageChangedEventArgs

The InputLanguageChangedEventArgs that contains the event data.

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

The OnInputLanguageChanged method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnInputLanguageChanged(InputLanguageChangedEventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnInputLanguageChanged(InputLanguageChangedEventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
