Form.OnInputLanguageChanging(InputLanguageChangingEventArgs) Method

Definition

Raises the InputLanguageChanging event.

protected:
 virtual void OnInputLanguageChanging(System::Windows::Forms::InputLanguageChangingEventArgs ^ e);
protected virtual void OnInputLanguageChanging (System.Windows.Forms.InputLanguageChangingEventArgs e);
abstract member OnInputLanguageChanging : System.Windows.Forms.InputLanguageChangingEventArgs -> unit
override this.OnInputLanguageChanging : System.Windows.Forms.InputLanguageChangingEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnInputLanguageChanging (e As InputLanguageChangingEventArgs)

Parameters

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

The OnInputLanguageChanging method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnInputLanguageChanging(InputLanguageChangingEventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnInputLanguageChanging(InputLanguageChangingEventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
