LinkLabel.OnLinkClicked(LinkLabelLinkClickedEventArgs) Method

Definition

Raises the LinkClicked event.

protected:
 virtual void OnLinkClicked(System::Windows::Forms::LinkLabelLinkClickedEventArgs ^ e);
protected virtual void OnLinkClicked (System.Windows.Forms.LinkLabelLinkClickedEventArgs e);
abstract member OnLinkClicked : System.Windows.Forms.LinkLabelLinkClickedEventArgs -> unit
override this.OnLinkClicked : System.Windows.Forms.LinkLabelLinkClickedEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnLinkClicked (e As LinkLabelLinkClickedEventArgs)

Parameters

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

The OnLinkClicked method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnLinkClicked(LinkLabelLinkClickedEventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnLinkClicked(LinkLabelLinkClickedEventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
