ToolStripDropDown.OnClosed(ToolStripDropDownClosedEventArgs) Method

Definition

Raises the Closed event.

protected:
 virtual void OnClosed(System::Windows::Forms::ToolStripDropDownClosedEventArgs ^ e);
protected virtual void OnClosed (System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripDropDownClosedEventArgs e);
abstract member OnClosed : System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripDropDownClosedEventArgs -> unit
override this.OnClosed : System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripDropDownClosedEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnClosed (e As ToolStripDropDownClosedEventArgs)

Parameters

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

The OnClosed method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnClosed(ToolStripDropDownClosedEventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnClosed(ToolStripDropDownClosedEventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
