ToolStripItem.RightToLeftChanged Event

Definition

Occurs when the RightToLeft property value changes.

public:
 event EventHandler ^ RightToLeftChanged;
public event EventHandler RightToLeftChanged;
public event EventHandler? RightToLeftChanged;
member this.RightToLeftChanged : EventHandler
Public Custom Event RightToLeftChanged As EventHandler

Event Type

Examples

The following code example demonstrates the use of this member. In the example, an event handler reports on the occurrence of the RightToLeftChanged event. This report helps you to learn when the event occurs and can assist you in debugging. To report on multiple events or on events that occur frequently, consider replacing MessageBox.Show with Console.WriteLine or appending the message to a multiline TextBox.

To run the example code, paste it into a project that contains an instance of a type that inherits from ToolStripItem, such as a ToolStripButton or ToolStripMenuItem. Then name the instance ToolStripItem1 and ensure that the event handler is associated with the RightToLeftChanged event.

private void ToolStripItem1_RightToLeftChanged(Object sender, EventArgs e) {

   MessageBox.Show("You are in the ToolStripItem.RightToLeftChanged event.");
}
Private Sub ToolStripItem1_RightToLeftChanged(sender as Object, e as EventArgs) _
     Handles ToolStripItem1.RightToLeftChanged

   MessageBox.Show("You are in the ToolStripItem.RightToLeftChanged event.")

End Sub

Remarks

Note

Changing the Enabled property of a ToolStrip does not raise the RightToLeftChanged event. Raise this event with specific property settings.
