ToolStripPanel.OnControlRemoved(ControlEventArgs) Method

Definition

Raises the ControlRemoved event.

protected:
 override void OnControlRemoved(System::Windows::Forms::ControlEventArgs ^ e);
protected override void OnControlRemoved (System.Windows.Forms.ControlEventArgs e);
override this.OnControlRemoved : System.Windows.Forms.ControlEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overrides Sub OnControlRemoved (e As ControlEventArgs)

Parameters

e
ControlEventArgs

A ControlEventArgs that contains the event data.

Remarks

The OnControlRemoved is called when a child control is removed from the ToolStrip.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

The OnControlRemoved method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnControlRemoved(ControlEventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnControlRemoved(ControlEventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
