ToolStripRenderer.OnRenderStatusStripSizingGrip Method

Definition

Raises the RenderStatusStripSizingGrip event.

protected:
 virtual void OnRenderStatusStripSizingGrip(System::Windows::Forms::ToolStripRenderEventArgs ^ e);
protected virtual void OnRenderStatusStripSizingGrip (System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripRenderEventArgs e);
abstract member OnRenderStatusStripSizingGrip : System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripRenderEventArgs -> unit
override this.OnRenderStatusStripSizingGrip : System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripRenderEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnRenderStatusStripSizingGrip (e As ToolStripRenderEventArgs)

Parameters

e
ToolStripRenderEventArgs

A ToolStripRenderEventArgs that contains the event data.

Exceptions

.NET 5 and later: The e argument is null.

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

The OnRenderStatusStripSizingGrip method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnRenderStatusStripSizingGrip(ToolStripRenderEventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnRenderStatusStripSizingGrip(ToolStripRenderEventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
