Ottiene il percorso virtuale della radice dell'applicazione e lo converte in relativo tramite la notazione tilde (~) per la radice dell'applicazione, come in "~/page.aspx".

Utilizzare questa proprietà per specificare le informazioni sull'URL che rimarranno invariate anche se la posizione dell'applicazione cambia. In questo modo è possibile usare lo stesso codice di mapping URL in un ambiente di test e nell'ambiente di distribuzione finale oppure da copie di applicazioni Web in domini diversi.
