日本マイクロソフト株式会社商標の使用について

Question

ソフトウェア・ロボット（いわゆるRPA）の本を書いています。本の中でExcelファイルの画像を貼りたいのですが、事前に日本マイクロソフト株式会社の了承を得ないといけないのでしょうか？ 下記のURLが参考になりそうですが、

Don’t use Microsoft’s logos, icons, or designs, in any manner.

Don’t use Microsoft’s Brand Assets as nouns or verbs.

という記述があることから、そのまま受け取ると、本の中でExcel、Wordと書くのもアウトの気がします。本当にそうなんでしょうか？

スクリーンショットの利用であれば、記載がありますよ。

マイクロソフト製品の起動画面、開始画面、「スプラッシュ スクリーン」、またはベータ リリース製品や正式にリリースされていないその他の製品の画面を使用することはできません。その他のスクリーンショットは、広告、文書 (教材カタログを含む)、教本、ビデオ、Web サイトなどに使用することができますが、上記の要件に加え、以下の条件を満たすことを前提とします。

• 拡大/縮小を除き、スクリーンショットを変更しないこと。
• スクリーンショットを部分的に使用しないこと。
• スクリーンショットを自社製品のユーザー インターフェイスに組み込まないこと。
• 第三者のコンテンツを含むスクリーンショットを使用しないこと。
• 個人を特定できる画像を含むスクリーンショットを使用しないこと。
