COM+ 管理カタログの使用の概要例

COM+ 管理カタログをプログラムにより使用するときは通常、以下の全体的な手順を実行します (ここに示すのは厳密な順序ではありません)。

  • ローカル コンピューターで COM+ カタログとのセッションを開きます。 必要に応じて、リモート コンピューター上の COM+ カタログに接続します。
  • サービスの開始や停止などのアクション (特定の COM+ アプリケーションに関連しないアクション) を実行します。
  • COM+ アプリケーションのインストールやエクスポート、アプリケーションへのコンポーネントのインストールなどのアクション (ファイルの読み取りまたは書き込みに関連するアクション) を実行します。
  • 新しい項目を "Applications" コレクションに追加することにより新しい COM+ アプリケーションを作成するなど、コレクションに新しい項目を追加します。
  • コレクション内の項目のプロパティを設定または取得します。
  • カタログに対する保留中の変更を保存または破棄します。
  • 発生する可能性のあるエラーを処理します。

COMAdmin オブジェクトを使用するときのこれらの手順を示すため、以下に Microsoft Visual Basic の例を示します。 コレクションの特定、コレクションの列挙による項目の取得、その項目のプロパティの設定など、上記で説明した全体的な手順の一部を簡単に示します。

以下の例では、次のアクションを実行します。

  1. 新しい COM+ アプリケーション "MyHomeZoo" を作成します。
  2. いくつかのコンポーネント (Cat と Dog) をアプリケーションにインストールします。 どちらのコンポーネントも、既に存在する必要がある単一の DLL (MyZoo.dll) に含まれています。
