Increasing the maximum length of an attribute that is the source field for an attribute mapping may cause truncation of data or errors when a solution containing these attributes is imported into another system. When you increase the MaxLength of an attribute, check whether any other attributes are mapped to it and ensure that the maximum length of any attributes that are the target in the mapping are an equal or longer length.
