IRecordSequence.LastSequenceNumber Property

Definition

When overridden in a derived class, gets the sequence number which is greater than the last record appended.

Property Value

A sequence number which is greater than the last record appended.

Exceptions

The property was accessed after the sequence has been disposed of.

Remarks

This property contains a sequence number that is guaranteed to be larger than the sequence number of the last appended record. Valid sequence numbers are greater than or equal to BaseSequenceNumber and less than LastSequenceNumber.

Note

When using a LogRecordSequence instance, the LastSequenceNumber value can become out of date until records are flushed to the log. See Flush and RecordAppendOptions for more information on flushing records.
