DataGridView.OnColumnHeaderMouseDoubleClick Method

Definition

Raises the ColumnHeaderMouseDoubleClick event.

protected:
 virtual void OnColumnHeaderMouseDoubleClick(System::Windows::Forms::DataGridViewCellMouseEventArgs ^ e);
protected virtual void OnColumnHeaderMouseDoubleClick (System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewCellMouseEventArgs e);
abstract member OnColumnHeaderMouseDoubleClick : System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewCellMouseEventArgs -> unit
override this.OnColumnHeaderMouseDoubleClick : System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewCellMouseEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnColumnHeaderMouseDoubleClick (e As DataGridViewCellMouseEventArgs)

Parameters

e
DataGridViewCellMouseEventArgs

A DataGridViewCellMouseEventArgs that contains information about the cell and the position of the mouse pointer.

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

The OnColumnHeaderMouseDoubleClick method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnColumnHeaderMouseDoubleClick(DataGridViewCellMouseEventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class' OnColumnHeaderMouseDoubleClick(DataGridViewCellMouseEventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
