Opmerkingen

Met paging kunt u de inhoud van het DataGrid besturingselement weergeven in paginasegmenten. Het aantal items op een pagina wordt bepaald door de PageSize eigenschap. Als er geen waarde is opgegeven voor de PageSize eigenschap, worden in het DataGrid besturingselement 10 items op een pagina weergegeven.

Paging is standaard uitgeschakeld. Als u paging wilt inschakelen, stelt u deze eigenschap true in op code voor het afhandelen van de PageIndexChanged gebeurtenis.

De gebruikelijke logica voor de PageIndexChanged gebeurtenis is het instellen van de CurrentPageIndex eigenschap op de index van de pagina die u wilt weergeven en vervolgens de DataBind methode gebruiken om de gegevens aan het DataGrid besturingselement te binden.

Note

De gebeurtenis-handler ontvangt een DataGridPageChangedEventArgs object als parameter. U kunt de NewPageIndex eigenschap van deze parameter gebruiken om de index van de pagina te bepalen die door de gebruiker is geselecteerd op basis van de paginaselectieelementen van het DataGrid besturingselement.

Bij standaard paging gaat het DataGrid besturingselement ervan uit dat de gegevensbron alle items bevat die moeten worden weergegeven. Het DataGrid besturingselement berekent de indexen van de items op de weergegeven pagina op basis van de pagina-index, opgegeven door de CurrentPageIndex eigenschap en het aantal items op een pagina, opgegeven door de PageSize eigenschap.

Normaal gesproken wordt een gegevensbron met alle items die moeten worden weergegeven, geladen telkens wanneer het DataGrid besturingselement wordt gepaginad. Dit kan veel resources verbruiken wanneer de gegevensbron erg groot is. Met aangepaste paging kunt u alleen het gegevenssegment laden dat nodig is om één pagina weer te geven.
