We dropped by accident an azure sql server
I get this the automated response (below). But I can not find how to create the support ticket:
It just returns always the text below and does not allow me to create a new support request. We are paying for support, but do not seem to be able to create a ticket.
Recover a deleted Azure SQL Server
If you delete an Azure SQL server or resource group containing Azure SQL Server, all databases are deleted and can't be recovered. Restore of a dropped server is not officially supported. This will be an attempt to recover the server and databases.
Note: The following conditions, prerequisites, and disclaimers apply to every recovery attempt.
Recovery conditions for a Azure SQ Server**
- A new Azure SQL Server with the same name was not re-created since deletion.
- The Azure SQL Server was deleted within the last 7 days, including today. Otherwise, it cannot be recovered.
Note: If the resource group was deleted, as part of the recovery workflow, the resource group is recreated. There is no need to recreate the resource group.
Prerequisites
The following information is needed by support to assist with recovering a deleted or dropped server:
- Server name
- Region name
- Subscription owner approval and business justification
Disclaimer
- There's no guarantee that recovery will succeed. Recovery is a good-faith effort.
- We recommend using a combination of ARM resource locks
and Azure RBAC
- permissions to prevent accidental account deletion.
- To avoid business interruptions, see Overview of business continuity with Azure SQL Database & Azure SQL Managed Instance
- .
Post-recovery customer action items:
Confirm the databases under the server can be recovered using supported features:
- If there is a server you can restore deleted databases
- from the Azure portal, PowerShell, or REST APIs.
- If long-term backup retention
was enabled for the databases you can restore from long-term backups
- .
- If geo-replication
was enabled for the databases a copy of the databases might be running under a different server.
