protected:
override void OnControlAdded(System::Windows::Forms::ControlEventArgs ^ e);
protected override void OnControlAdded (System.Windows.Forms.ControlEventArgs e);
override this.OnControlAdded : System.Windows.Forms.ControlEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overrides Sub OnControlAdded (e As ControlEventArgs)
Parameters
A ControlEventArgs that contains the event data.
Remarks
The OnControlAdded method is called when a child control is added to the ToolStrip.
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.
The OnControlAdded method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors
When overriding OnControlAdded(ControlEventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnControlAdded(ControlEventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
