(PM) Default order settings (form)

Click Product information management > Common > Released products. On the Action Pane, on the Plan tab, in the Order settings group, click Default order settings.

Click Product information management > Common > Released products. On the Action Pane, on the Plan tab, in the Order settings group, click Site specific order settings.
Use this form to define default settings for an item. The default settings are used by master planning to generate sales orders, purchase orders, and inventory orders. The default settings also provide the quantities for the order lines. However, you can change these quantities.
The main settings involve the following areas:
Defining a warehouse to use for each module when orders are created.
Defining the settings that modify order quantities for each module when orders are created.

CW multiple |
Enter the default catch weight quantity to use for requirement calculations. This is the default catch weight quantity in which the item is produced. However, you can change the default quantity. You can set up the default catch weight quantity by site. |
CW min. order quantity |
Enter the minimum allowed number of receipts or issues for the catch weight item. This value is used in purchase lines, sales lines, production orders, inventory journals, and item coverage. You can set up the default catch weight quantity by site. |
CW max. order quantity |
Enter the maximum allowed number of receipts or issues for the catch weight item. This value is the largest quantity that will be accepted in purchase orders, inventory journals, and productions. You can set up the default catch weight quantity by site. |
CW standard order quantity |
Enter a default catch weight quantity to use to create purchase lines, inventory lines, or sales lines. You can set up the default catch weight quantity by site. |
CW unit |
The catch weight unit of measure. |
