Store, find, and share files in Teams

Completed

Microsoft Teams is a powerful communication and collaboration tool that offers several benefits to educators and learners. One of the key features of Microsoft Teams is its capability to store, find, and share files.

The Files tab

Every channel in a team has a Files tab. The Files tab is where educators and learners can find all the files that have been shared with their team. Unless the permissions are specifically changed, any member of a team can edit the files in a channel. The only exception is in a class team, which includes a special folder in the general channel: the Class Materials folder. Any file added to the Class Materials folder is read-only for learners.

The OneDrive app

In the OneDrive app in the Me Space, educators and learners can find all the files they have access to across all their teams and channels. They can also access content from OneDrive and SharePoint, including their personal OneDrive files and files others have shared with them outside Teams.
