Remarks

A connection is a communication link to a data source. Integration Services supports connections to data stored in a variety of OLE DB-compliant formats. For more information, see Adding Connections Programmatically.

ConnectionContact	Represents a writer-defined String. This value is read-only.
ConnectionType	Returns the name of the connection manager used to create the connection. This value is read-only.
CreationName	Returns the string that is used to create an instance of the ConnectionInfo object. This property is read-only.
Description	Gets or sets a description for a connection.
FileName	Returns the name of the file that is the data source for the connection. This value is read-only.
FileNameVersionString	Returns a String that contains the version number of the file. This value is read-only.
IconFile	Represents the name of the resource file that contains the icon to use when representing this connection type in the graphical user interface. This value is read-only.
IconResource	Returns the name of the .resource file or the .resx file that contains the icon to use when representing this connection type in the graphical user interface. This value is read-only.
ID	Represents the GUID assigned to the connection. This value is read-only.
Name	Gets or sets the name of the connection.
UITypeName	Returns the name of the connection type that is shown in the graphical user interface. This value is read-only.
